SDG&E’s Shut-Off Plan Rejected by PUCPOC and it’s supporters are celebrating the PUC vote today which rejected SDG&E’s Shut-Off Plan. Now it’s time for SDG&E to do what they should have been doing all along: proper maintenance of their lines, replacing wood poles, undergrounding where possible. Read the full Union-Tribune article here. In additional news, a California Assemblyman has resigned after being caught on tape discussing an affair with a lobbyist. The woman is believed to be a SEMPRA lobbyist, in what seems to be a continuing trend of ethics violations and misdeeds by SEMPRA and it’s subsidiaries, and the politicians they need to get what they want. We will be adding a section to our website within the week that will be a watch dog for corporate and political ethics violations related to SEMPRA, SDG&E and energy issues. |
