SDG&E Accused of Misleading AgainThis article in the San Diego Union Tribune today highlights a continuing trend of SDG&E of misleading the public, politicians, and state regulators. A lawyer for the PUC Division of Ratepayer Advocates stated that SDG&E provided the PUC with a document showing the City Council’s support of the Shut-Off Plan, but did not include language the City Council’s misgivings on the issue of liability. As we’ve seen over the past few months, and even years, this is a trend for SDG&E that they are comfortable continuing. We need to hold them accountable, and let them know we will not stand by while they lie to us. The ratepaying public, businesses, and our local and state representatives and regulators need to stand up and hold SDG&E to a higher standard than we have in the past, or they will keep on doing business as usual. |
