Power Lines Create Fire Fighting Hazard

From recent news stories about the small brush fire in El Cajon on Friday:

Air tankers with fire retardant helped quickly knock down a huge wall of flame in the unincorporated area of El Cajon near Sycuan Golf Resort, formerly called Singing Hills Country Club, that was dotted with towering power lines, creating an initial hazard for the air attack, Cal Fire said.

This is one more example of one of the major hazards with a high transmission powerline running through a fire-prone landscape.
